all i remember is the music
I don’t know about you, but my memory palace is made of music. Specific tracks have made deep marks in so many periods of my life. When I listen to songs from the past, I’m transported—a form of time travel. Perhaps more than most I’ve always been an avid listener of instrumental (non-vocal) music, it’s like finding the soundtrack of your life…while you’re living it. Here’s a couple hours of my movie, with plenty of jump cuts to different ages and countries. Maybe you'll find one for your memory palace.
